Overview
Located in the heart of the Milky Way, one of the world’s most famous ski areas, with 400 kilometres of slopes and more than 50 kilometres dedicated to cross-country skiing, and one of the most important locations hosting the XX Winter Olympic Games in 2006. The closest chairlift, which takes you to the “Monte Banchetta” area, is only 50 meters away, making it extremely easy to access the slopes (home of the Kandahar Olympic downhill slope). Our apartments are also only a few minutes’ walk from the village centre.
The “Via Lattea” is a modern ski resort with artificial snowmaking facilities that ensures a ski season from early December to Easter. But what good is a day of skiing if there is no après-ski? The Sestriere area is a cosmopolitan and lively ski resort that draws both foreign and local visitors. On the slopes and in the main towns, there are numerous bars, restaurants, and clubs.
